Crete Day 3: Balos

We drove our car – white Citroen C3 to first to Kissamos and then further to Balos.

Approximately after passing the port, the road changed to the very rough. It took us about 30 min to reach the parking.

Very rough rocks, it was difficult to stand on it.

We bought honey from thyme and small bottles of raki with this honey.

On the way back from Balos, we stopped a the stone beach.

A frites with herbs, delicious.
A mixture of fruit after the dinner.

On the way back from Balos, we stopped to Chania to admire the city.

Plenty of tourists.
A few meters away from centre you find archaeological excavations.
5000 BC.
There are plenty of archaeologic elements everywhere.
At Chania’s market.
A wooden products (wood of olive tree).
A duct cover with Greek patterns (square shape).

Wonderful flowers.
