After 3 days staying at the same place, we rented a car from Sirenes. October, it is almost end of the season, so we got the car for 75 EUR for 3 days (with 300 EUR liability in case of accident from your fault).

That time it was Suzuki Alta.

It took us 1 hour to reach Potami Beach, where we parked to start hiking the Potami waterfalls. The car journey was very pleasant, the Samos island had plenty of breathtaking views.

Potami Waterfalls
The path to the waterfalls is very pleasant under the trees.

There was a crystal clear water in the stream and at the same time cold.
You should be ready to get wet, otherwise you may loose your trousers.

Potami Beach
The Potami Beach is very beautiful, however at the beginning of October it was very windy (there was the northern wind) and staying at the beach was not so cool at that time. So after taking photos we continued to Kokkari.

Kokkari
This is probably the most pocretesque city/harbor of the Samos Insland. Our goal of the trip was to have a mixture of sightseeing and laying on the beach.
So we started from taking the sunbath, because if you were staying only 7 days at the Samos, you need to take a lot of sunlight and the strongest sun was around noon, so beach first!

We got hungry, so I went to buy some food. At the bar desk I learned that they didn’t accept credit cards. To my surprise the bartenders offered me that I could pay later or even the next day. I answered that I would not come in the nearest future, so they offered me food and a fresh orange drink for free! What a very friendly people ! It happened to me for the second time, for the first time it was in Livigno at la Costacia, here it was at Calma Bar.

I was with special rubber shoes and I can say with them walking with a water full of sea urchins.

Jessa enjoying the Kokkari houses.

All photos were without any filters. After the sunbath Jessa wanted to go to the toilet, so we decided to take a coffee at a taverna at the beach. There sea was quite rough, at this side of the peninsula nobody was at the beach. We drank coffee and went to buy some souvenirs and postcards. At the Samos Island there are plenty of cats.
